Default Report Builder Models?

Anyone know what the following means?

"No Report Builder models are available. To use Report Builder, at least one model must be published to the report server, adn the appropriate permissions assigned to it."

What are report builder models? I am fairly new to SSRS, so please forgive the possibly easy question...
