Default p. 522 Paint Graphics

I was trying to get these to work, but when I enter the code as it is in the book, and run the program, the form comes up blank. Resizing, minimizing and dragging around do not change this. What am I not doing that is supposed to be done?

It should work. Are you sure you put the code in the Paint event handler and not some other event handler?

In the code editor, try picking "(Form1 Events)" from the left combo box at the top and then picking "Paint" in the right combo box. That should get you to the Paint event handler for certain.

I found what the problem was. I had put a PictureBox on the Form previously which covered the inside of the form. Even though it was blank, it was still above the rest of the form and blocked out the graphics from showing.
