Smile Empty toolbox and diminished Intellisense

Have enjoyed reaching p. 84 of VB2010PR.

1. Empty Toolbox window? It is only filled when a [Design] window is active. p. 39.

2. Diminished Intellisense? Debug mode shows different VB code errors and Intellisense options than Edit mode. p. 83.

I'm probably being dense but is there a question? Or are you just pointing out a couple of useful facts on those pages? (No need to reply if it's the later. I just want to make sure I'm not missing a question.)

Yes, a couple of useful facts about VS/VB, Rod, which I didn't notice immediately. And a Google search indicates that plenty of other novices didn't notice either!

Am now at p. 119 and loving the book

Rod, your advice about about "Control Chaos" on p. 115 is excellent. I had downloaded and installed a heap of free third-party controls and enhancements. They clogged up the toolbox and messed up the short-cuts and the menus. Very confusing. So have now uninstalled them. Will follow your advice to install them if, and only if, I discover they are needed.
