Hi all,

I create a strong name dll in my machine. I have another project to reference to that strong name dll and durring runtime, I have this error. Does any body know why? and how to fix it?

Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

Did you run the DCOMCNFG tool to configure security settings for the COM object?

From the command line run DCOMCNFG,
Select Component Services -> Computers -> My Computer -> DCOM Config

Locate your COM object,
select properties,
go to Security tab,
locate "Launch and Activation",
select "Customize",
select the edit button,
now make sure "local activation" is set to "allow"
