Default C# and Robotics

could C# be used in robotics? if so where do i look?
i am trying to get into programming some simple robot, since the cooler ones require more money than i have lol.

i really am not sure what i am trying to find, i dont know what parts i need, whats great for beginers.. all i know is that C or C++ is used and i have not heard of C# being used for this. luckily i know those 3 languages. Can anyone point me in the right direction? i would appreciate it. thanks in advance.

Try looking for Microsoft Robotics Studio.

A rudimentary search on google of C# Robotics would have worked equally as well:

I always put the most rudimentary searches into google before advising anyone to try there first, but given your post was about "C#" and "Robotics" that did seem like the logical thing to put into google (as Doug said) and produced numerous high quality results.

There is also a good article in the June 2008 MSDN magazine. If you don't have a hard copy you can read it online at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/magazine/cc546547.aspx.
