Default time is NOT on my side

anybody in possesion of some code that gives me time, date, hours, mins in seperate char[] variabels. I've been wreselin with bbuilder 5 and it's TDateTime objects and I'm 4 compiler errors away from insanity. It's easy to get it in their ansistring but they eather can't be indexed with [] or I haven't figured it out yet. Please, have mercy on this rookie, help him out, when I get large and famous, I promise I won't forget you :D
