Default Programming macros in Open Office Calc

Hello! I have a question about Open Office and c++ programming.

I made a big Excel file with macros and forms and ... but excel crashes very often. There are also other things that i want to change and I decided to move to Open Office. Is it possible to program in Open Office with c++? If yes where to start from. I can program c++ but do not know how to use the objects and functions of Open Office. Maybe you could give a good recommendation or link with information about? Thank you in advance!
