Metadata file could not be found

Hello,

I am having a problem compiling the c# code. When I compile I receive the error "Metadata file [file location/name] could not be found". What can be causing the error? The file it's looking for is a .dll file example: "ProjectName.dll". I am able to see it in the Solution Explorer window, but I don't understand why it cannot find it. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Thank you
