windows app communicating with iPaq over WLAN

Hi,
I am relatively new to both iPaq's and c#. I am currently trying to get my c# window application communicating with my iPaq over a wireless LAN. Can any body give me some pointers to get started, if i could get my ipaq to say hello to my laptop, both are wireless enabled, i can work from there.
