I tried installing the MSI file for my C# program just like I do in VB, and it shows up as installed in the Add-Remove Programs list. The installation window says it's being installed to

C:\Program Files\Default Company Name\TextBoxGrid

The msi file is called TextBoxGrid.msi

But when I go to the DefaultCompanyName folder - it's empty! Why? I never had this problem in VB.Net so I don't know what to do about it. Thanks in advance.

Well, not much, specially so of such basic nature, do i usaully see going wrong about setup programs. Just check in your setup project's setting's Application Folder node and make sure that you did put your appliction files (or the files that you expect to see in DefaultCompanyName folder) under it.

Thanks, that was exactly the problem. Shows how dumb I am. In VB.Net the default selection in the AddProjectOutput window is "Primary Output." In my C# window it is "Documentation" - hadn't noticed that before. So I just chose Primary Output manually and it worked.
