Can anybody help in writing a small program that can automatically handle the adjustment of speaker volumes through this.

Can you pls explain about what you mean by "automatically handling" the speaker volume?

Moreover, I dont think you can adjust the "speaker" volume (unless the speaker has a programmable interface). Did you mean the soundcard volume?

Actually, my intention is this:

Suppose when we watch some videos, based on the quality of CD some file will give good sound quality, and some other will give minimal sound and so we have to adjust the volume to make it audible.

Rather than going for manual working, i thought of automating this through any kind of supporting program.

That's why i indicated as Automation of speaker volume.
