Default error installing com+ component on win 2003

Hello,

I'm trying to install a serviced component (library mode) on a win 2003 server (with regsvcs), unfortenately I get the following error:

An unknown COM+ 1.0 catalog error occurred:
1: You made a method call on a COM+ component that has a transaction that has already aborted or in the process of aborting.

I thought that windows 2003 uses COM+ 1.5 instead of 1.0?? Trying to add the component in Component Services fails too. I'm member of the local administrators group, but no matter wath I try, I always get a permission related error. COM+ Event System and COM+ System Application services are running.

I have no problems if I deploy the component on a windows 2000 professional machine.

Is this some security issue? Do I need to change my component? Do I need to install or enable other windows components? Any suggestions?

Best regards,
Pieter
