Default View layer best practices

Hi, i'm new under layered development and I've build a Data Access and Business Layer following steps that I read in some articles over the internet and I would like to know if someone have a good article or tutorial about the best practices on create a View Layer, how to consume all the work done in backwards, etc.

Thanks
