Default XSLT Best Practices

I'm looking for XSLT best practices.

There are plenty of XSLT learning and reference books out there. I loved Michael Kay's first XSLT book for Wrox; that book is what inspired me to embrace XSLT for my music pages. I also read O'Reilly's XSLT Cookbook, which was nice, but somewhat redundant with Michael's mammoth book (which I read twice, and still use as a reference guide).

What I'm after now is a book or at the very least a set of well-designed articles which carefully discuss XSLT best practices. I'd love to see the pros and cons of certain approaches to using XSLT in large projects, specifically websites.

Do such books or articles exist? Or is XSLT still niche enough that all the good advice tends to reside here in the forums?

I would also recommend XPATH 2.0 Programers reference by Michael Kay. Also, O'Reilly has another book called Learn XSLT, which is good.

I find that the forum is a great place for help, reading and learning.
