I need to read the text from scanned picture/image. Could anyone give code or brief idea to get this capability.

1. Post on the forum appropriately with a description of your problem, thus possibly helping other members. We all need code, but we are programemrs and paid to produce it, not ask for it
2. Refrain from double-posting, you have already posted this question here http://p2p.wrox.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=71497
3. Perhaps go out and buy a book on the subject and learn something rather than ask for the code and expect spoon feeding.

While one of the links there is an open source project I suspect for this kind of thing you are really going to have to pay.
