Default Printing passed ASP variables in header

Hello,
I am trying to print a "Patients Medical Info" in the header of a page. I have Access database records that I am passing to a "Printer Friendly " Intranet page to be printed out through IE for our Medical Records Dept. Some of these records may be large enough to overflow onto several pages. Rules state that the patients medical information must be at the top left of each page.

So I am wondering if anyone knows a way to maybe create a header file and have it print on each page?
This is being done in Internet Explorer 6.0

Thanks

Hello kward,

  You can use <div> tag with style :position:absolute;top:10;left:50

But this overlaps on the current data.

<div name="div1" id="div1">
 <table ....>
   <tr>
     <td>....</td>
   </tr>
 </table>

</div>

How long is the header content that you want to have on top of every page. Keep that not too long, else it would not look good. Also, if long, it would push the page content to next page. Here are some links to do that in differnt ways. I would suggest you to have that in an include file, that has the corresponding RecordsetObj("Header_ColumnName") in its place.

You can also use <h1> - <h6> header tags as very first content in your <BODY> of the page, to have the header.

Hope that helps.
Cheers!
