Default Menu hiding under controls

I have an ASP page where there are a list of menus and submenus under it.This page also has a few list box controls one below the other and they are positioned in such a way that whenever I click on a menu and the submenu is displayed it emerges under the list box controls and the menu can not be read properly. How can this be removed as I want the menu to appear above the list box control to make it fully visible. Also I am not in a position to change the design so as to shift the list box controls to other side of the page. Can anyone help me with this.

The majority of the form elements are positioned to absolute top. Elemenmts like even flash or javascript menus fall a level below it giving the unfortunate result of menus falling under form elements. There are some specialty programs that may help, but for the most part, I'd try to reposition the menus X, Y to avoid coming in contact with the forms

I have come accross this before - its not worth the time and effort to troubleshoot it - especially to make it work cross browser (a small nightmare)

;;;I am not in a position to change the design
Interesting, you do have a problem. Who would design such a page, I would tell them to fix it themselves or allow you to change the page design.
