Hiding controls menus

Hi,
I have a web page where I have a few textbox & List box controls and I have a menu of links which when clicked comes under the control elements. However I want the menu to be visible over the control elements.This is O.K. with texbox controls but with listbox controls the menu is getting hidden under the listbox controls. Any code help is welcome.
