Default Conformation Screen.

What is the best way to display conformation screen for a data entry form? Righ now I am doing that with cookies, further what if we want to retain the value after validation is done, say, for New employee addition form, if we check for duplicate Id, other value should persist as it is.

Thanks in advance.

Conformation for whatever is entered by user. e.g. you r registering for a site, u have entered info like your fname, lname, bday etc, now v wan't to display conformation screen with all the detail entered by user, with two buttons "Conform" and "Change", when press conform the detail goes to db, if change is press user goes back to data entry form.

I hope this is suffice.

There are any number of ways to do this:
1..Post the values to a confirm page then give the options to insert or edit
2..Post the values to the same page. Re-populate the form input boxes displaying a confirm message of some sort. Change you button value tag to insert in DB...

weather you are posting values to another page or the same page, it all works the same. As long as you store the info (hidden fields, visible fields) you can post it as often as you like to what ever page you like.
