Default vbNullString and optimizing Classic ASP

Has anyone got any tips for optimizing Classic ASP.

Currently I have been going through and replacing <> "" with <> vbNullString.

vbNullString - are there any problems that may occur using this in place of ""?

I use "" I assume a constant will always execute quicker than a string comaprison?
