I have a webpage with an applet and a Upload button to browse and upload images to server.
i can upload any image to server but
how do i store the image to the server and display the same image onto the applet simultaneously when a user uploads it from his local system.

you need to send a request for your applet
so that you can show it in applet.

If you want to display image at the same time.
you can use javascript function to show it on the client side in ur web page <like preview image feature>,without uploading it to the server then you can save it on the server.
