Default double quotes

I am pulling a string from a database field and i want to display double quotes when used on the asp page. what i'm finding is that the double quotes are not showing. i assume i can use other characters to represent double quotes.???? i am using an Input box on the asp page. please help

Hi Myron!

Try putting a forward slash (/) before the double quotes. That's what the authors call "escaping" a character that has a special function in asp (such as double quotes). Hope this helps! :)

You can either use:

Response.Write Chr(34)
Response.Write "Extra ""Quotes"" to do it"
