Default 3rd party application from ASP

Hello,

I need to invoke an 3rd party application from ASP, need help regarding the same.
Basically I need to open one document (link for the same available on one of the ASP page) in 3rd party application (e.g. textpad, editpad).

I am ok to invole the application seperately than with in ASP page.

Please let me know.

Thanks and regards,
Mehul

You may not be able to do this. It depends on the setting on the IIS server you are using. Most shared hosts, for example, will *NOT* allow this.

But...here's a starting point...

So you can see that the ".bat" file could then do most anything you want to.
