Default Crystal and Oracle and 3rd Party

Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with Crystal v8.5 running with Oracle.
I write reports directly with crystal which are then called up with a runtime to a 3rd paty software.
All of the reports work fine except for one.
The only difference with this report is that I use an alias in the report to get some of the information.
Can anyone advise if they have had a similar problem and if they found a solution.
        Much appreciated,

        Narooma
