Default Outlook and ASP

This is more of an Outlook/e-mail question than anything else:

I generate e-mails from my ASP code all the time: notification that a form has been updated.

I am currently building a room reservation system with ASP. When a user books a room via her calendar (created with ASP), I'd like to fire off an e-mail to her Outlook. When the user opens the e-mail, i'd like to give her the option to fire off some type of code and write the reservation appointment to HER outlook calendar.

Is something like this possible?

Thank you for your help.

One option would be to attach a vCal attachment to the email perhaps?

The following contains the code for doing just this: http://www.serverwatch.com/tutorials...le.php/1475511
