Default ASP 0223 error

Hi
I created an application with a third party COM object.
I used the metadata tag (in Global.asa) to include the typelibrary.
it worked fine on my intranet. But when i uploaded the files to my web site (internet), I get ASP 0223 error.
I have installed the COM object in my system which probably made the application to work. How do I get it to work on my website?
would the metadata tag alone work or shld i have to install the COM object onto the webserver too?
This is the metadata tag:

Thanx for any help that i can get!

- Siva

I have custom objects running in various places and have experienced similar problems. You have to register/copy the object onto the server, do you host the web site yourself? if not, youve pritty much gota be in bed with your host (or his sister, providing youre a man and not a man girl - if that's the case, his bother)

In english, you, or his sister/brother youre sleeping with must have admin acces to the servers:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv Dir

Thanx matt for the info.
I get the message that its very difficult to have admin access over a site that belongs to another. But you shld restrict using bad language in forums such as these.
This was the first time i ever wrote to a forum and u made me bite my tongue.

I was just looking for what part of my language was bad. There wasnt anything there I wouldnt say to my mother, however I apologize if I offended in any way.

I guess Kiwi(native)/Australians(adopted) are a bit crazy and like to sprinkle a bit of spice where ever possible. A word of caution, dont watch th simpsons - it can to be a bit crazy.

Have a good day tiger
