Default Charater support for filesystemobject

A error is thrown when writing an htm file using filesystemobject.

I guess it is because of some characters not supported by this component.
When I tried to trace the character ,it was showing as "?" which is not present in the HTML.

When trying to replace the character, it is not been done.

the error shown is invalid procedure call or arguement.

Can any body tell me a solution.
