    I donot know whether this is right forum ? I have configured default smtp virtual server in IIS 5.0 but no mail is being sent through this. As far setting as a whole is concern ,i guess it is fine as mails are mooving into different folders(DROP,QUEUE etc.)as per my configuration hence no administrative issue.I have checked one procedure from oracle database and found if i can sent mail to our one of the webserver (100.120.10.10) on port no 100 then mails can be sent to internet or intranet web server automatically resolve the dns issue. So my only requirement is how can i send mails written like (kumarop@iffco.nic.in) to our mail server -

i have gone through documentation but i guess i am making some thing wrong and want your help as my deadline is approching.as far advance setting is concern once again ai am writing the setting details overe here



fully qualified domain name is - testeproc

smart host -[ 100.120.10.10]

i have one local(default)domain called - iffco.nic.in

i have not configured any remote domain.(as my smart host will decide which is remote mail)

i have changes the output and general port ( general ->connection and general -> advance )to 100 as my smart host is configured to accept on this port only.



from above setting do u think mail adressed like kumarop@iffco.nic.in can be sent to smart host 100.120.10.10 on port no 100.



please help .
