Hi Mahulda,
I tried this and got an error:-

"Format is not a recognized function name"

This time I need to format it in the sql command as I am not using a datagrid.

Renu,
Even I was not using a datagrid.
Make Sure of the Single quotes and Double quotes

"SELECT JName, JCity, JState, Format(WorkDate,'dd-mm-yy') FROM tbl_Jurisdiction"

Mahulda-
This is exactly what I am using and still getting the same error. I am wondering if I need to include/import something in my code?

Mahulda,

I suppose your suggested solution pertains to Access DB. Format() works with access and not with SQL server.

I believe seeing this error ("Format is not a recognized function name"), Renu is using SQL server.

Cheers!

Mahulda,
Convert() is to be used with SQL server.

Renu,
It looks like you have initiated a post on another forum regarding this. If so, one can assume that this thread is closed.

Cheers!
