okay. Did you try executing the resulting select statement from your database directly, as suggested in my previous post? Did that help?

select * from cars where id = 46

I tried the sql in the dayabase it the it works ok, the result was as expected.

What version of MDAC is in use? Try to upgrade that to the latest version. That might help.

Looks like host issue. Get the MDAC upgraded, if using older version. That should solve, as it works fine with the database.
