Default Field format from Text to Memo

Hi,

I built a forum and changed on the MS ACCESS database, the field type from Text to Memo.
When I checked it online, I received an error, something dealing with the database.
Is there a certain format for calling a Memo? Or is it like a Text field?
This is my forum:
http://gomavrix.com/forum/default.asp

What happened is, the text field is too small in characters for people to post messages. I need more than 255 characters.

Thanks,
Meytal
