Hello all,

I have an ASP page that has a form that allows the end user to enter a computer issue they are experiencing. the information is being stored in an access database with an automatic ticket number being assigned by Access,when the data is entered.

After the user clicks the submit button I have them being redirected to another page that acknowledges that a work ticket has been submitted.

What I need help with however is displaying the newly created ticket number for the user on the acknowledgement page so that they can refer back to it.

Can someone help me with this?

If you are assigning the ticket number as autonumber in access? and you want the most recent autoid, you can use this sql statement

SQL = "SELECT @@IDENTITY AS Newticket"
