Default Entering data into an SQL database

Hi Guys,

I'm having real problems with this too, can you help...??

Question: Can data be entered manually into an SQL database using SQL server management studio express?

Is there a usual way to enter data other than a form?

If a form is the only way then which forms/what program should be used?

Any help is genuinely appreciated

Thanks

Jim

Yes you can use management studio to do that. You can also use SQL statements to enter data in to database.

Thanks,

I have SQl Server Management Studio Express...

I open up my server until I get to the table I want then I tried to 'open table' and inserted data into the table but it wouldn't save and seemed more like it was building a query than accepting data input...

What am I doing wrong?

I could do that without issues. Right clicked the table, chose Open Table and entered data into it. closed the table and re-opened the data I entered is there. Was it resulting in any error at your end?
