I have a page that pulls transcript records from a database. it pulls activity title, credit hours student name, school etc based on a username. It works fine but I can't make it do 2 things, one sum the total # of hours a student has taken and 2 not show the student name and school and other info for each record. I just want that info once at the top then a list of records for each student. Please help!

I'm not exactly sure cause I don't see any of your code but take the stuff out of the loop that you don't want repeated. I think you may have a nested loop? Why don't you post your code here so we can take a look. There's various work arounds to not writing data to the page like using IF statements to find out if the 'movenext' student name is different than the previous and then writing or not writing the names to the page.
