Default Internal OLE Automation error

Hello, friends ...

Before some days ago I am the this message in the Intranet web site.
I'm running my Web Site on the Windows Server 2003 Machine..

The asp pages which fetching some data in MS Access Database & displaying it on the page is now getting the following

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'
Internal OLE Automation error


I have tried a lot ways ..but didn't find any solution...
here is the software config.

Windows Server 2003 running IIS 6
Office 2003
Visual Studio .NET

Thanks in advance...

Please...anyonce can send the solution?

Hi,

Check point 1:
You must given read, write and execute permission on the MDB file and the folder containing MDB file.

Check point 2:
Check the permission on the folder "program files/common files/ado and windows/system32". The User "IUSR_MACHINENAME" need to have read and execute permission. The DLL "oleaut32.dll" needs to have read and execute permission to run fetch/Insert/Update operations.

I am sure the above two check points will resolve your problem. Do let me know if this still does not work...

Hello, Akash ...
I have given the permissions but still its not working.
I think its a major problem ...because previously when I have designed this page its working fine. Before 2-3 weeks ago this problem is arising.
