Default Visibility of Content Management System web sites

Hi,

I am writing a CMS in ASP that uses a set of web page templates that get filled with text that is stored in an SQL database on the server.

This means that the pages don't "exist" until served.

Therefore, does this mean that the site suffers from lack of exposure to search engines?

The content is stored "out of sight" in the database. Do I need to use a special method to make the content of my CMS site more visible to search engines?

New to this, so any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Steve
