Default ASP classic function

Hi there, I am looking to find a function to allow customers to insert links into the SQL database. I am looking at the code similar forum is based on but I found it very dificult to coop-on to it.

I would like to convert text into something more readable for asp pages.

I managed to get the hang of it a bit, but whenever I submit the form the last [/url] tag gets into the database as [/u only.
somewhere on the line is loosing everything after the [/u

My eyes are killing me looking at the code and they are getting the screen shape.

Please HELP!

I could post the code for the function if that helps.

Thanks
