I have built a file sharing site uploading and downloading files over http. The server is MS 2003 IIS 6.0

I have been looking for hours today and had no luck finding the processs for allowing file types like .cfg to be downloaded. They upload fine using pure ASP however can not be downloaded. I get a windows file type sensitivity error, see you sys admin...

Additionaly the same problem occurs in this scenario:
Files over 50MB get split. The split utility appends an integer file suffix. So if a 150MB file called myFile.psd gets split into 50MB chunks it produces:

myFile.psd.000
myFile.psd.001
myFile.psd.002
And the Merge batch file also gets vuploaded:
merge_myFile.bat

These get uploaded however can not be downloaded, the same behaviours as described above occur. My conclusion is: 2003 server does not allow downloading (right click save as) where a file sufffix is integers, nor .bat or .cfg files - how can I make this happen?

BTW I do not intend unlocking the .bat file type I have a work around for this. This system works fine locally using XP pro. From my reasearch today I do believe its a windows solution im looking for as apposed to IIS

Further to this post:
.asp files can not be downloaded either. I have created a testUser within one of our company groups. To view this problem visit:
1..http://www.framegroup.com.au/framenetFTP/
2..UN = testUser
3..PW = testUser
After you are logged in you will see two problematic files / right click / file save as / [problem occurs here]

Feel free to upload any docs you wish to test with (max 59Mb) Would very much appreciate thoughts on this one.

FYI:You may delete any files you upload
