Default Japanese characters in ASP 3.0

I am calling an ASP.NET page from an ASP page and posting some Japanese characters in Shift-JIS encoding in headers as well as body. But ASP.NET is receiving Japanese characters in corrupted format. I need to return same info back from ASP.NET to ASP page with some additional info. Please help me. My code is:

Set smbcReq = Server.CreateObject("Msxml2.ServerXMLHTTP.3.0")
smbcReq.open "POST", "http://172.16.216.193:8080/CVS_SMB_Simulator/Settlement_Simulator.aspx", False
const SXH_SERVER_CERT_IGNORE_ALL_SERVER_ERRORS = 13056
smbcReq.setOption 2, SXH_SERVER_CERT_IGNORE_ALL_SERVER_ERRORS
smbcReq.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "text/html; charset=shift-jis"
smbcReq.setRequestHeader "charset", "Shift-JIS"
AppendRequestHeaders smbcReq
smbcReq.send GetBodyString
