Default Problems displaying web pages using IIS

Hello everyone,

I am having a few problems displaying my web pages through IIS.
I have XP Pro, and have installed IIS, I can view my web pages on my own computer no problem, however the pages can not be viewed by another machine. Although I do not have a static IP address, I connected to the net got my current IP and asked a friend to try to connect, with no luck. Is there anything I am missing out?

Many thanks in advace!

iis may not be set up correctly, also you could have the xp firewall activated which as far as i know will block people accessing your computer.
