Good day

Aware of the fact raw email addresses arnt a wise thing to place on a web page in relation to email farmers - Should I assume this annoying practice also sees inside mailto HTML tags? (fairly sure they can but never been sure)

Has anybody come accros a way to achieve the outcome of clicking a mailto link while not giving up the email address to these evil email farmers?

I usually place a web form on a contact page. This eliminates the need for raw addresses and HTML mailto tags. For this instance I would like to run both a form and the equivilant of a maito tag. Is it some funky Javascript what I am after?

Hi Matt,
   Personaly I do not employ mailto links for this very reason and that I also think it is a hassel for a user to have to launch their email client when i can supply them with a form that will submit the email for them.

In any event, you will probably want to do some obfuscation such as described in this article:
