Howdy, I have to agree with several of teh posts I read here...getting started with Crystal Reports & .NET is not very intuitive...therefore I was hoping someone could help me.

I want to set up a report based on a dataset, but how do you actually create the report itself if the dataset is not available at design time?? I can't figure out how to get the data fields into the Report Designer so I can do the actual design.

Also, even though I've read a few posts on passing parameters (i.e., via QueryString) it still eludes me. Can anyone help with basic info?
