Default Crystal enterprise customisation

We are working in a bank. So at the end of the month, they have to send the account statement to all customers.

They are currently doing it via postal service. What we require is that , at the end of the month, we schedule a report

which would send INDIVIDUAL emails to all customers( nearly 25,000). We are able to generate a single reports containing all the statements but we cannot send this to all. We have to have individual emails sent to all customers. Now I don’t understand how we can slice/split our report into 20,000 reports so that each can be sent/scheduled for email. Please suggest a solution. Maybe I am looking at the wrong side of the solution.

Question 2:

There are also some users to whom we wish to send the account statement by FAX. It would also be at the end of the month and the customers can be 5000 or more. How do we implement this thing using Crystal enterprises 8.5 or 10. This is similar to the above problem except that we want to fax the statements instead of email

I would very much appreciate if you could help me out in this matter

About ur 1st question I think u dont have to make a report by [u]Crystal Report</u> or Any. U can generate ur Customer's info & then send them in HTML format! IF u dont need to make a ReadOnly report or ...
And about 2nd one, I guess the easiest way is using WinFax or anything like that. u'll just create a file & fax it by computer using that software.

HTH, & keep in touch.

Always:),

The solution that the company wants should involve crystal enterprise, so i need to customise crytal enterprise 8.5 or 10 or customise it so that it can provide me a solution for both email and fax.Besides, there are atleast 25,000 customers to whom it has to be faxed and emailed.

Ok In that case u can make a .rpt file for each customer & email or fax it as i said before.
if they r not dynamic (1 page per customer) u can make ONE report & send them page by page.

Keep in touch.
