Default Creating Field Definition Files

How can we create field definition files in Crystal Reports 9 the way we did in prior versions using the CreateFieldDefFile() function that lived in the p2smon.dll file.

We can copy this file to the System32 folder and use the old, deprecated CreateFieldDefFile() function. But I wonder if there is a way to perform the same in CR 9 without using this old, deprecated function (except using the Field Def. Designer to create them manually, of course :)).

Regards,

ejan
