Default crviewer.dll

Hi Guys,
Hopefully you can help me out.
I am trying to install cr v10 developer on a lan. I have successfully installed it on the server and have it running. However I am also trying to run it through a third party runtime software and cannot get it to go.
When I try I get the following error message.
" Component 'crviewer9.dll' or one of its dependancies not currently registered : a file is missing or invalid."

I have searched the drives for this file and it does not exist, I believe this is because I am installing v10 not v9 but the runtime is asking for v9. I have been assured by the runtime co. that this is ok, so my problem is the registration of the crviewer.dll or its dependancies.
I would really appreciate any help with this :)

           Regards,

           narooma
