Has anyone experienced any problem exporting using Crystal 8Ã Ã and Windows Server 2003?

Are you having problems exporting Excel files or other kinds? Right now, we're not able to export Excel files as well as seeing a blank screen on some computers.

I have just moved our system from NT 4.0 to Server 2003 and Crystal Reports 8.0 is not functioning properly. The Seagate Page Server will not start - it gives the error "1068 - the dependency service or group failed to start". Has anyone encountered this?
|
If you have not resolved this issue, yes, I had the same problem. If you check the dependencies of the Page Server service, you will see that it depens on 2 other services which are "disabled" by default on a Win2003 server. Just enable and start them and then you should be able to start the page server service.
Good luck.

I did enable Network DDE and DDES, and now it starts and immediately stops because it "may not have work to do".
Any thoughts?

My coworker came up with a tool that has so far succesfully installed Crystal Reports on those that would not before. This forum will not allow me to attach it, but if someone requests it I'll gladly send it along.
