Default Crystal Report & Java

Hi All,

We want to generate portal reports showing data in tabular and graphical format such as pie and bar chart. Our product is on J2EE platform. The way we want to design it, that the data which we want to display in tabular format is in form of Java collection object.

For example, X axis data is in a Arraylist labelX and correspondingly labelY. We would like to pass this objects to the Crystal Report and then generate the report. Is this possible? If yes, can you please direct me how to start or some reference/tutorial.

Most of the sample application I have seen calls report from Java or Jsp, but does not pass complete data to be shown. Your advice will be of great help to me.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

RM
