Default CR.Net Not Showing Logo Image as well as Graphical

Hi all,

I have a simple web form written in ASP.net which contains a crystal report viewer. In vs.net web form designer, while all data fields are shown correctly, only a red "X" is displayed where there should be
images for the logo and Graphical Chart. And when I access the web form from a browser, NO CR.Net-generated image, including chart is not displayed. it Automatically generate HTML code for tat.,it automatically puts for image src is "crystalreportviewer/crystalimagehandler.aspx?dynamicimage="some GUID".png like this.

Can anybody help me out?

Thank you in advance!

Hi:

Start at this less-than-clear support page: http://support.businessobjects.com/l...s/c2014054.asp

I tried all of the mentioned solutions with no luck. If you are able to get it to work, could you let me know?

Thanks!

Mark

dear

i have no idea about your inserted graphics that what is the path of these files. but when i face the problem of tool bar. i check html source and locates the path of tool bar images.
"/crystalreportwebformviewer/images/toolbar/logo.gif"

after setting veiwer property DisplayToolbar=true then check your crystalviewer generated html source and try to locate toolbar images source.
regards

I'm using CE10 with J2EE and i solved this problem by deploy a new application named '/crystalreportviewers10' (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.5\crystalreportviewers10), because is the virtual directory that processed images dinamically. In your case, i think the path could be '/crystalreportviewer'.

i'm getting the same problem, but i've realized that the cause is that the site was published on a web farm. So i'm getting the red X problem yet.
Anyone has some idea?

I had the exact same situation. My solution (a bit unconventional), was to mimic the virtual directory that the .msi package created when I originally installed my web deployment package, because my web site was not the default that is setup with IIS. I literally simply created a virtual directory on my website in IIS with the exact same properties, and it worked like a charm.

I am having the same problem.
Images in Crystal Deports 9.1.5000 (bundled DOTNET version) do not show up in ASP.NET application. I did EVERYTHING suggested, and now I got to see the CR navigation buttons now, however the images that are part of the report itself do not show up.

I already tried all of the below:

read http://support.businessobjects.com/l...s/c2014845.asp
and
read http://support.businessobjects.com/l...s/c2014054.asp
and
gacutil.exe -i abc.dll (did not work because it wasn't strongly typed)
and
created a Virtual Directory to CrystalReportsWebViewer2 (that solved showing up of navigation buttons) and created "Application" setting for it
and
copied abc.dll to the same folder as Crystalimagehandler.aspx (did not work)
and
gave RWX permissions to the ASPNET user to all the folders in question on this server

I am running out of options, is there anything else that I can troubleshoot?

thanks

Tom

There is one more resource to consider, I just found out:

http://support.businessobjects.com/l...s/c2008180.asp
and
http://support.businessobjects.com/c...ntfsrights.pdf

Let's try this to see if this helps

Tom
