images from FW to DW

I don't know why, what any image I have created in FW MX, with transparent background, becomes white backgrounded when inserted in a DW MX document.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to force DW to accept the image without any background (so transparent)?

I don't think there is a way to do that. Of course, I've not done anything regarding this but you may want to visit the forums at Macromedia. You may find help there

There have been numerous cases of PNGs not handling transparency well.... are you using PNGs? If so, are they correctly transparent elsewhere?
