Default XM 2004: Design and Split mode disabled?

Hi :)

I didn't used to have this problem, and I think it started when i was mesing around with the 'site' features (I was planning on locally testing my php scripts). Basically, I'll create a new document, stardard html, for instance, then I can go to design mode and split, and code.. then, as SOON as I save the file onto my hd, it greys them out.

Anyone know how to fix this?

There are no sites in my site manager, btw.

Hi there,

What exactly is greyed out? The code in the code editor, or the files in the Files panel? And are you working with templates?

I think I have never seen the behavior you're describing....
